How to share files in Microsoft Teams

In Microsoft Teams, you can share files with other Teams users from OneDrive, from teams and sites you have access to, and from your computer.

To start sharing in a channel:

  1.  Click Attach (the paperclip icon).
  2. select Recent, Browse Teams and Channels, OneDrive, or Upload from my computer, and then choose the file you want to share.

To start sharing in a chat:

  1.  Click Attach (the paperclip icon).
  2. select OneDrive or Upload from my computer, and then choose the file you want to share.


    Or you can copy and paste the sharing link in the compose box.
